I’ve never been a huge fan of the FAST / FURIOUS franchise but there’s something about FAST FIVE that makes me want to see it immediately. I think it’s the idea of a jacked up Rock relentlessly chasing Vin Diesel and Paul Walker. I love the idea of The Rock and Diesel going head-to-head though I mostly loathe the idea that Diesel is our “hero” and destined to win this fight (or at least, their characters will come to some sort of mutual agreement). Dammit, I want The Rock to just kick some ass!
Not to give away the cow for free but Universal has released ten new clips from FAST FIVE and one of them is titled “Hobbs and Dom Throw Down” and offers a tantalizing glimpse of what happens when The Rock and Diesel start kicking the shit out of each other.
