Check out the new, extended TV spot for Green Lantern | Movie News
When I think of GREEN LANTERN, the first thing that pops into my mind isn't Tina Fey and "30 Rock" but that's precisely where I saw the debut of the latest GREEN LANTERN TV spot (I'm told it also ran during "American Idol" but I wasn't having any of that).
At 1:30 in length, this new TV spot is actually closer to a trailer and is mostly cut from the WonderCon footage. I thought they might try to focus the TV campaign to Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively (much in the way that THOR spent a lot of time and money pushing the Thor-on-Earth angle), but they went surprisingly geeky with this, not shying away from Oa, Parallax or Hector Hammond's giant head.

Every time I see the trailer (or in this case this "new" tv spot) I shiver at how bad this movie looks. I hope it turns out good, but the shitty special effects and Reynolds (who I actually like as an actor btw) as GL all make this stuff look waaay bad!
