A couple of days ago, we brought you the news that Seth Rogen was possibly about to write and star in a GREEN HORNET movie. Now the plot appears to have thickened as it has emerged that he wants writer/director/actor/dancer Stephen Chow (KUNG FU HUSTLE) to play Kato.

Good idea? Well if reports are indeed true, that Rogen is trying to reverse the current trend of dark superhero flicks, then I can't think of anyone better than Chow. But in the grand scheme of ideas? Probably not the best. As I'm sure you know, Kato is the Green Hornet's masked sidekick and was once a role played by Bruce Lee. If Chow can recapture the magic of the first half of KUNG FU HUSTLE, I'm totally there. Or if he can jump up and kick a light bulb. That'd be cool too.

STEPHAN CHOW IS THE NEXT BEST IMPORT SINCE JACKIE CHAN. I CAN DEFINITELY SEE HIM AS THE GREEN HORNET.

Before I was worried...
I was worried this movie would go down like a dirty hooker, but this news makes it all good. Stephan Chow is a pretty talented guy, and he and Seth make a good combo for a funny Green Hornet.

Interesting choice
Like the idea. And since it's Seth Rogan, I'm game for it! It'd be nice to see the both of them come up with something unique for a superhero movie! And, as much as I enjoyed Shaolin Soccer and Kung Fu Hustle like anyone else, I can't help but feel that people only look to those two movies by Chow as his best work. He has an entire resume of hilarious movies before that.

Chow would rock . . .
. . . but they *have* to get him in on the script. Shaolin Soccer and Kung Fu Hustle were both genius movies.

That would be a great idea, but only if the script were written by Chow... what's next, a Kevin Smith movie written by Jason Mewes?

Love Stephen Chow!
The guy is a master at making hilarious flicks Kung fu Hustle Great, so was Shoalin Soccer. He should be the next Chan, but as a comedien. His films are just so good, and I like everything he has done. The scripts are funny, the acting is great, and all the actors play there parts perfect. Gotta see them, soI'm all for it.

This is getting out of hand
You gotta be fucking kidding... No one can replace Bruce Lee or do what he did (hell, I doubt even a CGI version of him can), so why even bother?

Uhhh yeah
If the script is written by Seth Rogen and it's gonna star Seth then I think Chow is the best fucking choice out there. Who would be better?
