Despite its name, ANIMAL KINGDOM is not a documentary about the African wild. It’s actually a pretty incredible Australian crime thriller. Chris Bumbray reviewed it out of Sundance, gave it a perfect 10/10 review and called it the best film he’d seen since THE HURT LOCKER. It went on to win the World Cinema Grand Jury Prize at Sundance and will open to theaters in New York and Los Angeles on August 13. But YOU can see it next week!
JoBlo.com and Sony Pictures Classics are teaming up for a special screening of ANIMAL KINGDOM at Comic-Con. The screening will take place on Thursday, July 22 at 8pm.
