Erika or Evelyn Salt? | Movie News The cool peeps over at "Cinema Blend" recently unloaded some scoopage via "Production Weekly" that the Angelina Jolie starring spy thriller previously titled EDWIN A. SALT had been renamed ERIKA SALT to, understandably, accommodate Jolie's extra X chromosome. Case closed, right? Not so much. The folks over at Moviehole have recently chimed in with a "hold on there, cowboy" and checked with an inside source claiming that the film is titled SALT (as had been previously rumored) and Jolie's character is named Evelyn A. Salt. So which is it? Erika or Evelyn? Either way, Salt's still the name and spy thrilling's still the game.

Re: Production Weekly
That is the most unreliable listing in L.A. - they basically re-type the Hollywood Reporter thursday edition...

Problem is, they'll often list about 5 movies by one director (ie; Spielberg) as being in various stages of production all at the same time. I guess PW is good if you're the type who still needs to send resume's out, but as far as being a source for movie updates? Bad idea.
