Get a load of Hugh Jackman from the set of The Wolverine

Aug. 3, 2012by: George Merchan

Just the other day we got a glimpse of some video from the set of THE WOLVERINE, showing off what appeared to be a WWII-era Japanese prison camp. It wasn't exactly the most exciting stuff, but it was something. Today's a little better, though, as shots of everyone's favorite mutton-chopped mutant have finally hit the web. Check out the images below for a bit of Hugh Jackman sporting a more trimmed do and one of him looking kinda like a hobo. I like!

THE WOLVERINE opens July 26, 2013

James Mangold is a very good director, so I have a lot of faith that this movie be a lot better than the last one.

I am such a fool, my expectations are so high for this film. Why do I do this to myself?

Fix code

Also Joblo, you need to fix your site so it doens't make a double post after leaving a post and then replying to another persons message. Either that or leave the option to delete your own post.

Grey

Is it just me or is he getting some grey at the bottom of his chin there? Maybe they will use him in the new X-Men movie as Old Man Logan.... I hate you Fox. I love my Wolvie too much. Give Marvel the rights back.

So at the end of the last moviethe after credits scene shows him in Japan, following the events of the movie and hes not sure who he is, having lost his memory. We know the time period to be the 1980s. If this movie has flashbacks to WWII which are going to be meaningful to the storyline, surely this is going to mean Logan probably made enemies back then wholl remember him when the movie kicks of in the 1980sbut he wont know what the feck is going on. Right? If the movie is actually

Right? If the movie is actually sent during WWII...is Victor Creed going to be there given that they were inseparable up to the point of Logan quitting Stryker 's team? Does anyone think Fox is capable of making a movie without timeline inconsistencies?

Maybe they'll pull some "he's on a classified mission" b.s. Technically Logan should be in Europe during the war. Meeting Captain America, The Howling Commandos and even Black Widows father. No way will Fox be able to pull off any coherent timeline with his vast history. They're bound to screw shit up. I just hope it doesn't turn out to be the turd that was his first outing.

Okay, judging from the picture with Japanese soldier in a military uniform, is The Wolverine going to be set during World War 2? I'm not familiar with Wolverine's Going to Japan storyline.

not really. he goes ther during WWII but it mostly takes place in modern times. It could wasily be set in the present, but itll be no later than 30-40 years ago.
