I'm not a believer in the upcoming Nicolas Cage GHOST RIDER movie but I gotta admit there is something cool about seeing the Blaze-to-Rider transformation on screen. It does fulfill some geeky childhood fantasy of mine even if I think the movie is gonna wind up disappointing me something fierce. The video below, posted on Marvel's GHOST RIDER blog, has director Mark Steven Johnson walking us through the process of the transformation. While I am doubting GHOST RIDER like no other, I really respect Johnson as a director and am pulling for him on this one. You can check out the clip below to see for yourself and contemplate the possibilities of this movie.

johnson sucks
Mark Stephen Johnson took one of the coolest Marvel characters of all time, with some of the best source material by Frank Miller, and made what is possibly the worst movie I have ever seen all the way through.

How can you repect this guy?

For me, he doesn't get a second chance after Daredevil.

Could we get a clip of Nicholas Cage growing hair? Now that would ROCK! LOL!

I'm still not convinced that this is going to be a quality film, but it looks like it'll be fun, at the very least. And the director seems pretty passionate about it, which is always a plus. I'll definitely see it.

Rip off
I had no sound on and I have to say that this clip is the worst I've ever seen. We don't even get a smooth transformation. Instead I could have looked at the pictures of Cage changing and seen the same thing. Thanks for wasting a minute of my life and an extra minute for making me write this.
