The world's first 'virtual band' had been followed by film-maker Ceri Levy between 2000 and 2006, snagging a behind the scenes look at the development of drawings, animations, music and the musicians that made the Gorillaz what they are today. The band have won a ton of awards including Best Group at the 2005 MTV Europe Awards. Check out the film - called BANANAZ - out at the official site HERE. It debuts tomorrow at the Berlin Film Festival.

Would anyone else be more up for a Gorillaz movie that was just completely animated and used their music to tell a story?

I think that would be cooler. I could care less about what is going on behind the scenes. I just want more cool animated shit.

I remember the first time i saw this video i fell in love with this band, and then when i found out Noodle was a girl i was freaked out but i still love Gorillaz they rock!
