Topher Grace, he who will be Venom this May in SPIDER-MAN 3, has signed on to star in the upcoming sci-fi thriller SOURCE CODE. Not much is known about the film, but hopefully it doesn’t revolve around writing HTML for websites. That would just be really boring. It supposedly has something to do with time travel but beyond that nobody’s talking. Ben Ripley wrote the spec script, which Universal picked up who floated it past Grace, who will also executive produce. Grace has a lot on his post-SPIDER MAN plate including the comedy COXBLOCKER (which just isn’t as funny when it’s not COCKBLOCKER), the coming-of-age dramedy KIDS IN AMERICA and the drama THE CRUSADERS with Terrence Howard. No idea yet where SOURCE CODE will fit into that schedule.
