Huffman is a Wife

Felicity Huffman has signed on to star in the Picturehouse dramedy THE POLITICIAN’S WIFE, an adaptation of the British miniseries of the same name. Adapted by THE HUMAN STAIN scribe Nicholas Meyer, the story of course centers on the titular wife and her responding to her husband’s infidelity in “unexpected ways”. Whatever her response actually is, Picturehouse president Bob Berney promises that Meyer’s screenplay is filled with “intrigue and sexual politics.” Is it weird that I’m looking forward to anything “sexual” related to Huffman, especially considering she was getting frisky with Eva Longoria at the right-pictured recent People’s Choice Awards? You know what, don’t answer that. Filming is expected to start in May when Huffman is on break from “Desperate Housewives”. She can next be seen in the Garry Marshall-directed dramedy GEORGIA RULE.
