The Hulk vs. The Incredible Hulk
Here's my deal, AS A MOVIE, so taking away any fanboy-dom any of us would have for the characters in the Hulk-verse and that world, Lee's picture had the better acting, more chemistry between it's leads (Norton and Tyler failed together miserably), no loose threads (what happened to Betty's boyfirend guy? He just disappeared), and more style. That is not to say

RE: Paulie
POST: Would you do another Hulk?
LETERRIER: “Definitely. Although I was new to a lot of this, I’d love to do another big film full of visual effects because I got such a big kick out of it. Post was absolutely amazing. For the first time in my life I wasn’t going into the editing room

For the first time in my life I wasn’t going into the editing room and thinking, ‘We have to fix all the stuff that doesn’t work.’ Here it was, ‘We shot amazing stuff, now let’s make it exciting and magical,’ and I can’t wait to do it again.”

Great movie

Norton was perfect casting for Banner, and despite my usual preference for Elfman's music, this was an improvement on Elfman's score for the first film. Leterrier was also a great choice, for director. Initially I didn't understand them getting the director of Unleashed to handle this reboot but it made perfect sense when I saw the final product. Whereas Lee took a cast of great actors in the first film and gave us hammy overacted performances, this film seemed very authentic when it comes to each actor's performance.
The finale was great, the last shot of Norton at the end of the movie was perfect and its failure at the box office has more to do with Ang Lee than anyone else. I expect to see a similar reception with the new Superman reboot.
By the way, those 70 minutes of extra footage are included (they're just not mentioned here), they'll be released as separate deleted scenes.
P.S. 'Splain to me how they could have used a "real person" portray the hulk? He's ten feet tall, green, and uber muscled. CGI is absolutely needed for a character like this.

How can Ang Lee's Hulk be better than or even close to this version? Need I remind you of the mutated poodle and dog fight? LAME and utterly ridiculous. The end fight scene, that should have been amazing... was the Hulk and his dad flying through the stormy skies where you see absolute jack! There WAS no end fight scene. One of the major things to a Hulk movie is to have an END FIGHT scene.
Horrible story,

Horrible story, horrible fights, horrible lot of things. This one was far more superior in every aspect. The only good thing about Ang Lee's was the split camera aspect, though that also made it more difficult to watch at times as the viewer had to keep track of every screen.
To say Ang Lee's poorly written, farce of a Hulk movie, was better than this one is a damn lie.
What about those 70 minutes of extra footage?
It's a shame it didn't do better but I think it was in part because it carried the negative stigma from the Ang Lee Hulk. I knew quite a few less
knowledgeable people who didn't think it would be very good because of the previous movie.
I hope they still opt to go for a sequel.

As Good As Iron Man? Really?
Notably, I think Ang Lee's version is brillant.

Hardly great...
Wow, that is one horrible cover...
Well, despite one ugly cover, it's a pretty cool movie- I dug it alot. I'll try to pick up the two-disc after the price goes down- I MAY get the three disc, but shit I'm saving some cash for TDK, Hellboy II, and Wall-E (three much better films, IMO).
