The Human Centipede 3 (Final Sequence) lands a May release plus a synopsis

04.07.2015

I for one, upon viewing THE HUMAN CENTIPEDE, didn't quite see it as the first part of a trilogy; but apparently I lack vision as we're quite close to the release of the third installment, THE HUMAN CENTIPEDE 3 (FINAL SEQUENCE). Today Entertainment Weekly found themselves privileged enough to be the ones to announce the official release date of THE HUMAN CENTIPEDE 3 (FINAL SEQUENCE), lucky bastards. Those wishing to see more mouths stitched to more asses can look forward to May 22 which is when the film will be released to theaters and VOD.

EW also managed to obtain a synopsis for THE HUMAN CENTIPEDE 3 (FINAL SEQUENCE):

Bully prison warden Bill Boss (Dieter Laser), leading a big state prison in the US of A, has a lot of problems; his prison statistically has the highest amount of prison riots, medical costs and staff turnover in the country. But foremost he is unable to get the respect he thinks he deserves from his inmates and the state Governor (Eric Roberts). He constantly fails in experimenting with different ideas for the ideal punishment to get the inmates in line, which drives him, together with the sizzling heat, completely insane.

Under threats of termination by the Governor, his loyal right hand man Dwight (Laurence R Harvey) comes up with a brilliant idea. A revolutionary idea which could change the American prison system for good and save billions of dollars. An idea based on the notorious Human Centipede movies, that will literally and figuratively get the inmates on their knees, creating the ultimate punishment and deterrent for anyone considering a life of crime. Having nothing to lose, Bill and Dwight create a jaw-dropping 500-person prison centipede.

THE HUMAN CENTIPEDE 3 (FINAL SEQUENCE) entered production way back in 2013 with Dieter Laser and Laurence R. Harvey, stars of the first two films, returning in different roles. Eric Roberts, Bree Olsen, and Robert LaSardo will also be appearing in the Tom Six directed flick. I imagine now that a release date has been nailed down we should be seeing a trailer pop up sooner rather than later, previously the only snippet of the film we had was this short audio clip playing over a still image:

I don't count myself as a fan of these films, outside of a certain reluctant curiosity, but I'm sure some of you will be pleased that THE HUMAN CENTIPEDE 3 (FINAL SEQUENCE) will finally be available to view on May 22, 2015. The rest of us can breathe a sigh of relief that there won't be any more sequels...because films with final in the title are always the last ones...right?

So stoked for this, so far they just keep getting better for me. Fun times and ridiculous horror gore, how can you not love it?

First one was ok, the 2nd one definitely tried too hard, but I will still see this one, probably be on Netflix within a couple months anyway.

I am not a fan and havenīt seen the first two movies but I love the director "meta Approach" and him giving back to the fans. So in part 2 someone tried to mimic the fictious first movie and in part 3 both Prequels were fictious and someone tries to mimic it again? And with a villain named "Bill Boss" this will surely be over the top.

Human Centipede 2 just tried too hard to offend people

I'm over this franchise after the second one. When you add scenes just for shock value and to push the limits of just how much people can tolerate, you've got a stale product. This franchise is banking on continually upping that shock value and Im over it

love this franchise

Love bizarre films. These have been great, though 2 wasn't as good as 1. Hopefully 3 ends this with a bang.

I remember hearing a while ago the director wanted a happy ending. He's supposed to have a small role and I've thought for a while the perfect ending would be him showing up (as a cop or bystander) and just say What is wrong with people or smoething along those lines.

Been wondering when they would get around to this one.

If nothing else you have to admit that synopsis was laugh out loud funny.

I can't say I'm a fan of these films but I will catch this to see how it all ends.

Its been a ridiculous idea that's gotten into the casual public vocabulary. It's now part of Western Culture.

That's pretty impressive.

Is there a target audience for this film? Not me for sure.
