Interview: Green Hornet star Jay Chou!

A man of mystery, strength, and the best martial art skills in all of L.A. — no I’m not talking the Green Hornet. I’m talking about his “sidekick” Kato, the underappreciated and way-overpowered man in black whose job chauffeuring the Green Hornet around town and beating up bad guys was popularized by Bruce Lee on TV years ago.

Now, however, Green Hornet is set to take over theaters tomorrow and Taiwanese popstar Jay Chou has taken over Kato’s mask. No need to fear though, because he’s every bit the kickass badass you might have hoped — and just wait until you see “KatoVision.”

To learn more about what it’s like to play second fiddle to a hero you’re obviously stronger than, I talked to Chou himself this weekend at the Green Hornet junket. I also asked him what his favorite English phrase to learn was… you might be surprised.
