Logan Director James Mangold confirms plans for a black & white presentation

Last Updated on July 31, 2021

Finally, the long road to James Mangold's LOGAN is winding to a close, as the film hits theaters this weekend. Billed as the final installment to the long-running Wolverine-lead X-Men film series, LOGAN has already garnered an impressive amount of positive reviews, including this one from our own Eric Walkuski.

In related LOGAN news, the film's director, James Mangold, took to his Twitter account earlier this afternoon, and revealed that a black and white presentation of the film is currently in the works! You can see Mangold's tweet here:

Much like George Miller's MAD MAX: FURY ROAD – BLACK & CHROME EDITION, this alternate visual presentation of the film will give fans the opportunity to view the action in a more classic, Western-noir-style manner.

LOGAN starring Hugh Jackman, Patrick Stewart, Boyd Holbrook, Richard E. Grant, Dafne Keen and Stephen Merchant opens in theaters this weekend. While you're waiting, be sure to head on over to our official JoBlo Youtube channel for our video interviews with Hugh Jackman, Patrick Stewart, James Mangold & more!
