More actresses in the mix for The Dark Knight Rises: Hathaway, Biel, Knightley

Christopher Nolan’s trilogy closer THE DARK KNIGHT RISES is easily one of the most anticipated movies coming in the next few years, so expect to see every rumor and detail given appopriate attention.

But the sequel is months away from filming, and roles still need to be filled — including those of the female leads. Yes, as it has been speculated, the production is now reportedly seeking two lovely ladies to play a villain and the love interest, one rumored as Talia Head, the vengeful daughter of BATMAN BEGINS baddie Ra’s Al Ghul (Liam Neeson), the other possibly Vicki Vale 2.0 (cue Prince song in your brain) or another original investigative journalist.

Heat Vision claims that actresses soon due to test for roles include Anne Hathaway, Jessica Biel and Keira Knightley. Also named are Kate Mara (SHOOTER, 127 HOURS) and Charlotte Riley, a Brit TV actress… who also happens to be engaged to RISES villain Tom Hardy.

Eva Green and Naomi Watts have recently been rumored, but it’s unknown if they are (or ever were) involved in the testing process.

Christian Bale, Michael Caine and Gary Oldman will, of course, all be back for more Batness.
