Morgan Freeman in talks to expose other magicians in Now You See Me

One of the biggest letdowns of my life had to be not getting to meet Morgan Freeman on the set of RED. He wasn’t there. I’m not going to bitch any further though. I did get to meet Bruce Willis and John Malkovich.

I just wanted to hear that beautiful, majestic voice of his. The one that could calm any fussy baby. I dreamed that he would murmur any line from SHAWSHANK.

Soothing voices aside, Freeman is in talks to join the cast of Louis Leterrier’s NOW YOU SEE ME. The actor would be getting on board with Mark Ruffalo, Amanda Seyfried and Jesse Eisenberg. If Freeman does take the role, he will play Thaddeus, “an ex-magician who has made a career out of exposing other magicians’ illusions, making him a despised figure within the magic community.”

The story from Boaz Yakin and Edward Ricourt centers on, “a team of FBI agents against the Four Horsemen, a squad of the world’s greatest illusionists who pull off a series of daring bank heists during their performances and shower the profits on their auds.”
