Natalie Portman looks like a dream in The Other Woman poster

Dec. 27, 2010by:

Natalie Portman is about to be a very busy lady. Hot on the toes of BLACK SWAN, the girl has a ton of movies for us to view in the new year. We get to see her in NO STRINGS ATTACHED, THOR, YOUR HIGHNESS, and this one, THE OTHER WOMAN.

The film was directed and adapted by Don Roos (THE OPPOSITE OF SEX, HAPPY ENDINGS). It was originally titled from the novel it is based on, "Love and Other Impossible Pursuits" by Ayelet Waldman. Last year it was shown at TIFF and will get a limited release on February 4th, 2011. You can catch it before that right after the New Year from Video On Demand.

Oh yeah and Natalie Portman is pregnant by the Swan Prince that Mila Kunis felt up on the side of the stage in BLACK SWAN. It's not a spoiler for anyone who hasn't seen it. She gets sexy with a lot of people.

Synopsis:

"Emilia (Natalie Portman) is a Harvard law school graduate and a newlywed, having just married Jack (Scott Cohen), a high-powered New York lawyer, who was her boss and married when she began working at his law firm. Unfortunately, her life takes an unexpected turn when Jack and Emilia lose their newborn daughter. Emilia struggles through her grief to connect with her new stepson William (Charlie Tahan), but is finding it hard to connect with this precocious child. Perhaps the most difficult obstacle of all for Emilia is trying to cope with the constant interferences of her husbands angry, jealous ex-wife, Carolyn (Lisa Kudrow)."

Dude went from Lisa Kudrow to Nathalie Portman. I say he stepped his game up, big time!

This looks AWFUL! AWFUL!!

But seriously, the SAME DAY her engagement and pregnancy are announced, her MOVIE about getting married and having/losing a baby is also announced? Even Jews believe in bad omens.

"Emilia struggles through her grief to connect with her new stepson William (Charlie Tahan), but is finding it hard to connect with this precocious child."

But isn't she finding it hard to connect with this kid and frustrated she can't understand how to get close to this kid and understand this kid without struggling to do so?

The poster is crap and so does the movie. As for the tidbit, I am also eagerly awaiting Hesher.

Prediction

there will be a big Natalie Portman backlash in 2011. The talk of her performance in Black Swan being overrated will begin when she wins awards. That AShton Kutcher movie will be terrible. Your Highness wont be for everyone. The internet will turn on her. All those clowns who somehow thought they had a shot with her will flip now that she is engaged, pregnant and working a ton. I'm not saying I will personally, but internet sheep will, watch.

Bullshit. Everybody still loves Halle Berry for example. Nobody turned on her after she won her oscar. It's not like she let it go to her head. And Jessica Alba? Everybody still loves her: people didn't turn on her siomply because she got married and started having a family. Everybody is perfectly fine with her not showing any boobies in any of her films. Everyone thought it was just fine when she kept her clothes on in Sin City even though she was a stripper and they were thrilled when

And Olivia Munn? Everybody still loves her and nobody resents her sudden success. And we all still love Lindsay Lohan and Brittany Spears and don't condemn because they grew up and became skanky. No, the internet never turns on anybody. Where did you get that idea?

I forgot Miley Cyrus. People were counting the days before she turned 18. Then when she turned 18 she started acting all skanky. Which is exactly what we want, right? That's the whole point of waiting until they turn 18 so we can see them acting skanky, right? And people haven't turned on her one bit.

Now I'm wondering if your original post was sarcastic and that you are now reacting with sarcasm to my sarcastic reaction to your original sarcasm.
