Did you lose yourself in the 10-hour binge-watch Netflix sucked you into with the true crime series MAKING A MURDERER? Did you find yourself re-trying the Steven Avery and Brendan Dassey cases in your head, wondering if he was truly innocent or guilty as charged? Did you suddenly have an interest in wanting to learn more, immersing yourself deeper into the resources of the internet to soak up as much information as possible about what happened in Manitowoc County in Wisconsin? Then you're in luck. Netflix has more to give.

A new episode order has been placed by the streaming content provider with executive producers/directors Laura Ricciardi and Moira Demos getting right back into the same two cases to further examine what happens in the process post-conviction, in addition to showing the emotional toll everything takes on the convicted, on their families, on their attorneys as they continue to fight for justice they argue as escaped them. Avery's new lawyer and Dassey's new representation will be a part of the new episodes.

Production has already begun, but a premiere date has not yet been set yet, nor as an episode count. The first run of MAKING A MURDERER ran 10 episodes in total.

“We are extremely grateful for the tremendous response to, and support of the series," Ricciardi and Demos said. "The viewers’ interest and attention has ensured that the story is not over, and we are fully committed to continuing to document events as they unfold."

MAKING A MURDERER recently received six Emmy nominations, including one for best documentary or nonfiction series.

What else is there to tell?

I dont see what else they could talk about, unless they show the other side. As entrhalling as the doc series is, you do find out it is one-sided if you do more reading after it. I think Steven Avery is most likely guilty, but I think Brendan was screwed by the system and by being (self-admittedly) stupid. I don't think he commited any crime though.

Enough Already

Everyone has their own opinion on the matter. I personally think he's guilty. Good thing documentary filmmakers are taking the side of a killer instead of the poor girl who was murdered. I loved the series, but I know when I'm being manipulated. It's definitely not a fair or balanced documentary. Entertaining as hell though. Steven Avery is no hero.

Considering that 90% of the first season was debunked as half-truths and biased reporting, I think not.

Eh, I think I saw plenty. If he's innocent, I guess good that it's still getting exposure.

Making a Murder was so unique because the case was unfolding in front of us, then did a one eighty right at the tail end of the show. There's no doubt people love this kind of stuff, as past shows on A&E have done quite well too. Would love more of this show, even if we see a new season every two years or so.

Oh dude, same here! The idiotic cops, Brendan just agreeing with everything, when he clearly has a learning disability. And everyones hair cut, is that town stuck in 1985?!

What makes me angry is how people are buying into a one-sided, biased documentary from an untrustworthy source and think just because there were flawed people on the legal side, Steven Avery is innocent. What really infuriates me is that the real victim was Theresa Halbech, an innocent young woman who was brutally murdered, and no one seems to care about her. They just fall for Steven Avery's story because that's the side that they hear.
