It's time to get to know Paul Feig's GHOSTBUSTERS. We know the cast is made up of Kristen Wiig, Melissa McCarthy, Kate McKinnon and Leslie Jones… but who are the characters they'll be playing? Are they archetypes that feel very much like Venkman, Stantz, Spengler and Zeddemore, or do they bring something new to the table to allow their squad to stand on their own?
A new set of featurettes introduces you to each member individually, so you get a better feel for their role in the overall group dynamic. You'll get some new footage, particularly a few fresh character moments and a handful of jokes you haven't seen before…
I don't know that it's enough to change hearts and minds if you've already decided on GHOSTBUSTERS, but otherwise, it's at least some insight into the foundation of the world Feig is operating in.
GHOSTBUSTERS lands in theaters on July 15.
