New images from G.I.Joe: Retaliation feature uzi's, muscles, ninjas, and a tight red dress

We've got a host of new images from the upcoming G.I. JOE: RETALIATION featuring the main heroes of the cast (and one villain) in various forms of ass kickery or preparation for it (yes, that includes "pre-gaming" at the bar).  As I've said before, this movie is winning me over with everything I've seen thus far.  I'm well aware that many enjoyed RISE OF COBRA, but I've also noticed that many of those fans weren't fans of the original comic or cartoon series of which the characters are based.  I suppose it would be a whole other animal in those circumstances.

Well, except for those super suits.  And, ridiculously over-the-top action sequences, of which only director Stephen Sommers could deliver (seems like he has one style; circus act action).  The sequel has a lot more going for it, however, as the action looks to be much more plausible or at least presented in a believable way.  With ninjas, who are real.  Just like Santa and the Tooth Fairy.

Here's the pics:

G.I. JOE: RETALIATION starts blowing shit up real good on June 29, 2012.

Extra Tidbit: I'm disappointed to not see Flint in his signature beret. As a kid (and still today) Flint was my favorite character and part of that was because of the beret. I'm sure this was low on the list of things to be faithful to and seeing how much they seem to have gotten right, I'll stay reserved on the matter.

Cool

I just hope the Rock kicks all kinds of ass in this film and there is some cool ninja choreography between Snake Eyes and Storm Shadow.

im glad snake eyes doesnt have those lips anymore. but what have you seen that makes the action in this movie more plausible? that seems like an empty comment.

Did you read what I wrote after that? About Santa and the Tooth Fairy? I think my sarcasm zoomed past you, dude.

I kinda liked Snake Eye's suit from the 1st movie. It just looked more versatile and agile. This suit is cool too but it's a bit cyborgy. Movie looks great though, I'm sure it's a lot better the first.

I liked the Snake eyes look, no problem with the old one either.

Snake Eyes' mask looks better than the first movie. And I do hope to Flint wears his trademark beret at some point in the movie.
