Do you recall hearing about NIGHT OF THE LIVING DEAD: GENESIS? With so many NOTLD-inspired ‘sequels’, ‘prequels’, rip-offs and reimaginings all carrying the LIVING DEAD title, it’s not easy to keep up with them all, but if you need a refresher, we last told you about NOTLD: GENESIS back in January when we shared a work-print clip from the Matt Cloude-helmed flick with you. Well, today we have a brand new 9-minute preview as well as the latest poster from the upcoming homage for you to peep. Check ’em out below!
Matt Cloude’s re-imagining of George A. Romero’s Night of the Living Dead will pay homage to the timeless classic while expanding upon its storyline to explore more of the night when the dead began to rise by chronicling the events through the eyes of lead heroine Barbra. Every legend has a beginning.
NIGHT OF THE LIVING DEAD: GENESIS stars Judith O’Dea, Sarah Snyder, Mike Lord, David Witt, Donna Gee Rousseau, Cyrus Samson, Christy Johnson, David Crawford, Jessica Dole, Jim Krut, Mike Christopher, David Early, Heidi Hinzman, John Migliore and Wade Brown.
No word on a release date for this one, but we’ll keep you updated on it when we hear it.
