Paul Giamatti is a part time wrestling coach in this trailer for Win Win

Lately I’ve been hearing so much about WIN WIN. It did great at Sundance and finally there’s a trailer for the film.

Verdict on the trailer? WIN WIN looks great. Paul Giamatti plays an attorney/part time wrestling coach who ends up taking in a young boy. Despite his troublesome past, the kid is great at wrestling and gives some hope to Giamatti. Amy Ryan plays the role of Giamatti’s wife and seems to have the same kind of warmth that she does as Holly on THE OFFICE. The film was directed and co-written by Tom McCarthy (THE STATION AGENT, THE VISITOR).

Synopsis:

“Disheartened attorney Mike Flaherty (Paul Giamatti), who moonlights as a high school wrestling coach, stumbles across a star athlete through some questionable business dealings while trying to support his family. Just as it looks like he will get a double payday, the boy’s mother shows up fresh from rehab and flat broke, threatening to derail everything.”
