Rogen reports

Funnyman Seth Rogen once again attests to the undeniable longevity of the FREAKS & GEEKS crew, adding yet another new feature to his plans.

Rogen will star in Warner Bros.’ OBSERVE AND REPORT, in which he’ll play “a deluded, self-important head of mall security who squares off in a turf war against the local cops.” The movie comes from director Jody Hill, who caught the attention of Rogen and the Apatow cadre with THE FOOT FIST WAY.

KING OF QUEENS guy Kevin James has a similar project simply called MALL COP, but that one’s more family friendly and Variety describes Rogen’s project as “ribald” (which also implies it’s set in the 13th century). Rogen will begin patrolling the shopping center once he’s finished having sex with Elizabeth Banks (that lucky bastard) in Kevin Smith’s bluntly titled ZACK AND MIRI MAKE A PORNO.
