Rumor: Mandalorians could make an appearance in Star Wars: Episode VII

Last Updated on August 5, 2021

If it's a day of the week ending with the letter Y it must be time for another STAR WARS: EPISODE VII rumor. If you recall hearing about mercenaries going after the Jedi in the upcoming STAR WARS: EPISODE VII, the folks over at Latino Review might have some more information on what kind of mercenaries or hunters we are talking about.

A lot of people thought that the Jedi hunters described before sounded a lot like "Mandalorians", and if these new rumors turn out to be true, they would be right. You know one famous Mandalorian already, Boba Fett. Also if you plan on watching Star Wars: Rebels this fall, you will be introduced to another named Sabine Wren. Reports from the Set in London claim to have seen black and silver/chrome troopers but couldn’t confirm for sure if they were Mandalorians or just a new group of Imperial Storm Troopers. One interesting note as well is that the report mentions that a Sith Witch or Witches are in the movie.

Some background on The Mandalorians:

"In their early years, Mandalorian culture revolved around battle, with war being a source of honor and pride in their community. The leader of the Mandalorians, known as the Mand'alor, translates to "Sole Ruler" and presented as "Mandalore" in Basic. Throughout their history, the Mandalorians often allied with the Sith, perhaps most notably the Sith Lord Exar Kun, and held a certain distrust and general dislike for the Jedi Order."

Now I'm not too well versed with a lot of the Star Wars expanded universe shenanigans but that sounds very much like the Nightsisters of Dathomir; this might mean the dark Asajj Ventress will be a part of the story right? Of course this is a rumor still, but if it's legit it sounds badass.
