Well, goddamn, the Robert E. Howard adapted SOLOMON KANE is apparently churning merrily along. A sweet poster and a bad ass still recently surfaced for the film showing James Purefoy as the titular 16th century Puritan warrior being all "don't fuck with the Kane, bitches!"

Nothing complicated about this film. Ole Kaney basically kicks evil in the ass. He hunts down, captures and kills the shit out of evil in all its forms. That's what we're gonna see for ninety to a hundred minutes come later this year. Sound good?

Since the Soloman Kane stories are total bad ass? I'll watch a few 90-100 minute movies, especially if this one is a good time (I don't even need it to blow my mind.. I just have to have as much fun with it as I do the stories). It's kind of like if Van Helsing took on the Cthulhu Mythos... only I hope for a better movie than Van Helsing...
