Solomon Kane poster

I have to be honest, I had never even heard of this film before, but I like the sound of the plot and I like the poster. I also really like James Purefoy (A KNIGHT'S TALE), the only reason I wasn't more disappointed when he left V FOR VENDETTA was the fact that no one can be disappointed about a role that post-MATRIX Hugo Weaving takes. Here's said plot: “James Purefoy has been cast as puritan swordsman Solomon Kane in a movie of the same name to be made from the stories of “Conan the Barbarian” creator Robert E. Howard. Kane is a 16th century soldier who learns that his brutal and cruel actions have damned him but is determined to redeem himself by living peaceably. But he finds himself dragged out of retirement for a fight against evil.”

And here's said poster:

Extra Tidbit: Purefoy once - while at boarding school - serenaded the girls at a nearby school with thirteen stanzas of "Greensleeves". What a man!
