One of my favorite scenes in the entire MATRIX trilogy occurs when Neo battles what feels like hundreds of Agent Smiths, and somehow comes out on top. That’s what I loved about Neo. He was so perseverent, so committed, and looked so goddamn cute while doing it. Unfortunately, I see now where the Wachowski brothers got their inspiration for that loveable lug in latex. They are not true originals as I once thought. Instead, they built the foundation of one of the most legendary sci-fi epics on none other than…..a cat.
