Thor: Ragnarok Taika Waititi Chris Hemsworth Mark Ruffalo Banner

On the heels of our recent THOR: RAGNAROK scoop comes word from Birth.Movies.Death that they'e also heard a few things about the upcoming Marvel film. The site confirmed our report about Mark Ruffalo's the Hulk appearing in the threequel, and adds that the superhero will have a major role in the movie, as he and Chris Hemsworth's Thor "will be taking a cosmic road trip together, Hope and Crosby style."

BMD goes on to claim that the Hulk and Thor will meet Valkyries during their journey, however it's not clear if it'll be the group of beings who bring the gods to Valhalla after they die or Valkyrie aka Brunnhilde, the standalone superheroine and member of The Defenders. The site speculates that the third Thor film may finally introduce The Enchantress, due to her being an enemy of Valkyrie, and says "Marvel thinks they're going to cast some great women in this movie."

Sources also tell BMD that because the film is so dark, Marvel decided to hire comedy director Taika Waititi "to balance out the grimness of the script and bring it tonally a little closer to what Marvel fans have come to expect." They believe Waititi might be joined by another writer "to help brighten the corners of Ragnarok while maintaining writer Christopher Yost's apocalyptic vibe." What are your thoughts on the latest THOR: RAGNAROK rumors?

THOR: RAGNAROK will be in theaters on November 3, 2017.
