This fall the powers that be over at Scream Factory will be delighting all of us horror anthology fans as they plan to bring writer-director Michael Dougherty's (KRAMPUS, GODZILLA: KING ON THE MONSTERS) Halloween horror anthology TRICK 'R TREAT to Blu-ray! This will be branded as a "Collector’s Edition" that will come with a slipcover guaranteed for three months after its original release date.
The newly-commissioned artwork (which you can check out in its entirety below) is Director approved and comes to us from Devon Whitehead. This art will be front-facing and the reverse side of the wrap will be a theatrical art alternative that Mr. Dougherty asked if Scream Factory could include.
New extras and specs are still in progress and will be announced later in September. Extras from the previous DVD and Blu-ray release will be ported over and more new interviews are underway. Scream Factory is also happy to report that Director Michael Dougherty is very much involved!

Interwoven stories demonstrate that some traditions are best not forgotten as the residents (Anna Paquin, Brian Cox, Dylan Baker) of a small town face real ghosts and goblins on Halloween. Tales of terror reveal the consequences of extinguishing a Jack-o-Lantern before midnight and a grumpy hermit's encounter with a sinister trick-or-treater.
