Well, the big game is almost upon us. I, sadly, have resigned from caring now that my precious Vikings are out. But that doesn't mean I won't be watching the game inebriated while eating too much dip and watching television ads! It is, afterall, the American thing to do.

Courtesy of Slate, below is a 3-minute video of what their editors felt the Super Bowl would look like if it were directed by filmmakers such as Quentin Tarantino, David Lynch, Wes Anderson, Jean-Luc Godard, and Werner Herzog. A couple are pretty good, the QT one I think sucks, but hey, see for yourself!

I just realized some people have a little too much free time on their hands lol.. I want Tarantino to make a movie about the bills/giants super bowl though with Scotty making it at the end, how sweet it would be

Prediction...
I would MUCH rather see the Saints win, but Peyton is too great of a quarterback to only have one ring. I'll take the Colts 34-20.

Go Bears!
LOVED the Herzog bit. I am a lifelong and die hard Bears fan (even now) and live in the Chicago burbs and would not be surprised to see that on local TV soon. Got to agree w/fpac. I think we will see OT and a Colts FG. Wanting the Saints to surprise me though, putting some $ on NO to cover, at least.

David Lynch sucks
I would love to actually watch the Wes Anderson Super Bowl, it looked great and the Lynch one, was so dead on pointless Lynch.

Take the least visually interesting shot and have someone say "Cocksmoker" and you've got Kevin Smith. It wouldn't be the best football game, but it'd be hilarious and thought-provoking.
