Would you like to know who is currently negotiating to return for Kick-Ass 2: Balls to the Wall?

Last week I reported about writer/director Jeff Wadlow’s plans for the tone and direction of KICK-ASS 2: BALLS TO THE WALL, and the general consensus in the Strikeback comments seemed to be: “that’s nice Jeff, but either give us Chloe Grace Moretz as Hit Girl or give us nothing at all.”  Well folks?

It seems like Wadlow agrees with you, as Moretz is currently negotiating her contract for the hyper-violent sequel.  And she won’t be alone, as Christopher Mintz-Plasse and Aaron Johnson are closing their own contracts.  Hell, even Nicolas Cage will be coming back for a small cameo.  Things were a bit dicey there for a while as none of the actors had options for a second movie in their original contracts, and there was a certain fear that the $103 million gross (off a $28 million budget) of KICK-ASS would inspire the stars to demand more than the producers wished to give.

But all is well in the land of balls and walls, and the planned fall shoot in London is looking more and more like a sure thing.
