The actor took to Twitter to confirm Variety's exclusive about his casting, shouting his love for playing blue, 90’s characters (he also plays Leonardo on RISE OF THE TEENAGE MUTANT NINJA TURTLES). “I. LOVE. 90S. BLUE. ICONIC. CHARACTERS. I am beyond excited about this movie. It’s gonna be amazing. I have been training by running, wagging my finger and impatiently tapping my foot. GOTTA GO FAST!

Along with playing Leonardo, and now Sonic, Schwartz also lends his voice to Dewey Duck on the new DUCKTALES show, and voices Rutabaga Rabitowitz on BOJACK HORSEMAN. Along with Bill Hader, he also worked on bringing dialogue and various beep noises to BB-8 for STAR WARS: THE FORCE AWAKENS.  In terms of roles where you can see his face, the actor brought magic to the role of Jean-Ralphio on PARKS AND RECREATION, was on Showtime’s HOUSE OF LIES, and will appear in the upcoming NIGHT SCHOOL with Kevin Hart and Tiffany Haddish.
