Here's a little documentary that just may or may not melt your heart. If you haven't heard of him before, Batkid refers to Miles Scott, who was diagnosed with lymphoblastic leukemia at 18 months old. The little dude loved super heroes (his favorite being Batman) and when Make-A-Wish stepped in, they looked into turning Miles into Batkid for a day. Once the request went out, thousands of volunteers, city officials, businesses and supporters rallied to turn San Francisco, California into Gotham City. BATKID BEGINS chronicles that journey, and you can check out how some of it went down below.

Alright, I may have grinned like an idiot watching that. The good news is that Miles' cancer is currently in remission. I understand how some might see this come off as one big Make-A-Wish Foundation commercial, but it's worth it just for this kid and all the other younglings who get to live out their dreams. Word is that a feature-film of this story is on the way, so I'm sure we'll be hearing more about Batkid down the road. Hopefully all good things!

BATKID BEGINS will see a limited theatrical release on June 26, 2015.
