THUNDERBIRDS ARE GO… once again! This February, Amazon Prime is bringing us the fourth season of the re-imagining of the classic 60s TV series with an all-new set of adventures. Using a groundbreaking unique mix of CGI animation against live-action miniatures – created by New Zealand powerhouse Weta Workshop – Season 4 of THUNDERBIRDS ARE GO features the voice talent of Rosamund Pike, David Tennant, and the Mother of Dragons herself, Emilia Clarke.
Today, we’re happy to drop the exclusive first trailer for THUNDERBIRDS ARE GO Season 4, which uses the Imagine Dragons song “Thunder” to good effect; check it out above. The opening perfectly sets up what you’ve missed if you haven’t caught the previous three seasons. That said, those are all available to stream on Amazon Prime right now.
In addition to aforementioned names, the voice cast includes include Rasmus Hardiker (Black Mirror), David Menkin (Thomas and Friends), Thomas Brodie-Sangster (Game of Thrones), Andres Williams (The Muskateers) and David Graham (who voiced the original Parker).
When disaster strikes, International Rescue answers the call! From their hidden island base, the five Tracy Brothers pilot their cutting-edge Thunderbird vehicles to every corner of the globe and beyond – all for one purpose: to help others in need. Even the devious schemes of mysterious international criminal ‘The Hood’ can’t stop them from battling the dangers of the year 2060.
