Darren Lynn Bousman’s MOTHER’S DAY is shaping up to be quite the star-studded horror flick, and I pretty much can’t wait to check this sucker out. Good thing filming is set to begin in just a few weeks from now. There were some awesome casting updates made last week (check ’em out HERE), and today there are even more casting updates, thanks to STYD.
Apparently SAW II, III, and IV star Lyriq Bent (above) has joined the cast, as well as star of NBC’s “The Listener” Lisa Marcos (below). The casting of Bent should have been expected, considering the SAW films he was in were all directed by Bousman (the man must love working with him), but the inclusion of Marcos is puzzling. I have nothing to say about her, but that’s just it. With a cast that already includes Jaime King, Briana Evigan, Shawn Ashmore, and Alexa Vega, you’d figure a bigger name would be announced this early in the game. Ah well. I’m still down!
