Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker content comes to Star Wars: Battlefront II

Although Star Wars: Battlefront II was met with plenty of controversy upon its release over two years ago, EA has thankfully stuck with the game and continued to introduce new features, new characters, and new maps on a fairly regular basis. With STAR WARS: THE RISE OF SKYWALKER mere days away from hitting theaters, the game has received some brand-new content from the upcoming film.

First off is a new planet, glimpsed in the last trailer for THE RISE OF SKYWALKER, which will find you playing as either the Resistance or First Order as conflict spreads throughout this tropical paradise. There's also four additional reinforcements to deploy on the battlefront, including the Resistance's Ovissian Gunner and Caphex Spy, as well as The First Order's Jet Trooper and Sith Trooper. The update also features new Hero Appearances for Finn (John Boyega), Rey (Daisy Ridley), and Kylo Ren (Adam Driver), which will be classified as Epic and can be unlocked for 40,000 Credits or 1,000 Crystals. All three appearances will be unlocked automatically for those who own Star Wars: Battlefront II – Celebration Edition. I

STAR WARS: THE RISE OF SKYWALKER will hit theaters on December 20th. Check out the first reactions right here!
