Relationships are often like a body of water in that when someone casts a stone into the blissful calm, ripples can echo out, effecting everything within the splash zone. All it takes is a pebble to disturb the tide. And in the case of relationships, you only need a manipulative third party to make waves for a deadly undertow.

Today Netflix has unveiled a sleek and sultry teaser trailer for WHAT/IF, a Neo-noir social thriller that explores the ripple effects of what happens when acceptable people start doing unacceptable things. When the drama unfolds, the 10-episode series will focus on a mysterious woman's lucrative, but dubious offer to a cash-strapped pair of San Francisco newlyweds.
