We all know how Thor's hammer Mjolnir works, "whosoever holds this hammer, if he be worthy, shall possess the power of Thor." Aside from Thor himself, only a select few individuals have managed to lift (or nudge) Mjolnir, but in the real world, a regular sized object which can only be lifted by one individual is impossible, right? Well the folks over at Sufficiently Advanced have done just that by using a powerful electromagnet and a fingerprint scanner. As developing a real life Mjolnir wasn't enough for them, they took it out to Venice Beach to find out who was worthy enough to lift Thor's hammer.

Even though a clever pedestrian is able to see through the ruse, it's still a great effect; Marvel might want to take note once the marketing campaign for THOR: RAGNAROK kicks off. The third Thor film will see Chris Hemsworth returning to the role along with Tom Hiddleston (Loki) and Jaimie Alexander (Lady Sif), and, if you caught the news we broke yesterday, Hemsworth may also be joined by a certain enormous green rage monster. Can't wait.
