New Mockingjay Part 2 trailer looks at the bond between Katniss & her sister

Last Updated on August 2, 2021

As we ramp up to the release of MOCKINGJAY – PART 2, all sorts of promotional video and posters are being released to get audiences pumped for Jennifer Lawrence's Katniss Everdeen taking down the mighty Donald Sutherland and his…statues, I guess. Pretty ambitious considering the series' roots, and a new poster and trailer have hit that looks back on the bond between Katniss and her sister, Primrose. Take a look!

Featuring an impressive ensemble cast including the likes of Jennifer Lawrence, Josh Hutcherson, Liam Hemsworth, Woody Harrelson, Elizabeth Banks, Julianne Moore, Philip Seymour Hoffman, Jeffrey Wright, Willow Shields, Sam Claflin, Jena Malone, Natalie Dormer (yum), Stanley Tucci, and Donald Sutherland, the final installment (maybe?) of the HUNGER GAMES series will finally hit in 2 months from now. The box-office numbers speak for themselves, but I'm curious to see how these films will be regarded in 10 years from now. My guess is…they probably won't.

THE HUNGER GAMES: MOCKINGJAY – PART 2 will open on November 20, 2015.
