Creepy new cast photos from FX’s American Horror Story: Freak Show

FX has released 11 new images from American Horror Story: Freak Show featuring most of the main cast members, including Angela Bassett as Desiree "The Three-Breasted Woman" Dupree (I know that one got your attention), Evan Peters as Jimmy "Lobster Boy" Darling, Michael Chiklis as strongman Dell Toledo, and Sarah Paulson as conjoined sisters Bette and Dot. There's nothing overly disturbing going on in these images, but they are a little creepy.

One actor and character not shown in the pictures above is John Carroll Lynch's Twisty the Clown, and in a recent interview with Buzzfeed, creator Ryan Murphy said he's worried the clown might be a little too scary.

We said in the writer’s room that if we were going to do clowns, we were going to create the most terrifying clown of all time. That was our goal when we were writing him, but I’m worried about people being too afraid of our clown. It’s heart-stopping what he does. I’m worried. I’m worried that people are going to have cardiac arrests… The clown’s intro in the first episode is … even I was terrified of it. It’s brutal. Two crew members told me they have had nightmares about this clown since we started shooting and they’re not even scared of clowns. I think he’s pretty extraordinary because, when you see why he’s a clown and why he’s wearing the mask … just you wait.

Well, we won't have to wait too much longer; American Horror Story: Freak Show is set to premiere on FX on October 8, 2014.
