While we're all hurting that STAR WARS: EPISODE VII will not be making an appearance at this year's SDCC in any form or fashion, that's not stopping Lucasfilm from promoting their upcoming animated show, Star Wars: Rebels. Two new clips of the show popped up at SDCC and they've been posted below for your viewing pleasure.
It's kinda hard to tell with these clips, but things seem a little stilted so far. It's possible that the animators just need some time to settle into their groove but I'm not completely sold on Rebels. Also, is it just me, or do those lightsabers look a little thin? Regardless, I'm willing to give this show a shot. It's not replacing my Bob's Burgers obsession or anything, but it has potential.
Star Wars: Rebels will be airing a one-hour special this October on Disney XD.
