Comic Con Exclusive: Jamie Foxx talks The Amazing Spider-Man 2

Last Updated on February 10, 2026

10 minutes with Jamie Foxx to talk about THE AMAZING SPIDER-MAN 2? Yes please!

Sony brought THE AMAZING SPIDER-MAN 2 to San Diego Comic-Con this week (perhaps you heard) and JoBlo.com was able to get an exclusive 1:1 interview with Foxx, who plays Max Dillon/Electro in the film. Watch as he talks enthusiastically about the character’s many neurosis, his relationship to Spider-Man, the character’s child-like behavior and what it means to him to be in this gigantic movie.

Foxx has some rather fascinating things to say, so check it out and let us know what you think. Keep your ears open for a little preview of Electro’s voice too! (Oh, and please forgive the shaky-cam; was just me holding a camera.)
