This summer is kind of light on R-rated comedies compared to previous years but at least there's THIS IS THE END coming out soon. The end of the world comedy has a plethora of stars that are all playing fictionalized versions of themselves, including leads Seth Rogen, James Franco, Jonah Hill, Jay Baruchel, Danny McBride and Craig Robinson.
Several clips from the flim were previously released and two new ones are now up on THIS IS THE END's Youtube channel. This one has confessions from Seth Rogen and Jay Baruchel, with Rogen admitting that things aren't going well in the house and Baruchel expressing his displeasure that all the housemates have started to drink their own urine.
The second clip has some footage from the trailer that had Seth Rogen listing off what supplies are in the house (Mmmm….Milky Way) but it also has James Franco whipping out a pistol he kept from FLYBOYS and Jonah Hill trying to convince everyone that just because it's the apocalypse doesn't mean they can't have fun.
THIS IS THE END looks like it's going to be absolutely ridiculous and while the idea of actors playing themselves is nothing new it should still be a hilarious film, especially with this group of actors. Will it be better than THE WORLD'S END? Probably not since it's Edgar f*cking Wright but it should still be a lot of fun and whole bunch of crazy.
THIS IS THE END is in theaters June 12th, 2013.
