A few weeks ago, we heard the news that a live action CAPTAIN PLANET movie was going forward. It wasn’t a terribly big surprise, considering everything we used to watch as a kid is now getting its own feature film adaptation, but we did have to wonder what such a movie might look like.
Well thanks to Funny or Die and Don Cheadle, we now have one possible answer. In this short, the Planeteers powers combine (among them Gillian Jacobs, Brenda Song and William Mosley) to summon Captain Planet to save the day.
He arrives in the form of vengeful Don Cheadle and well, you’ll see. If Captain Planet went R-rated, this might be the version we get.
