28 Days in 1 minute

JoBloJoBlo

Amateur filmmaker Will Tribble recently got it in his head that Danny Boyle’s new zombie classic, 28 DAYS LATER, was too dark, dreary and long. His answer? A month long project called “28 Days Later in One Minute, One Take,” which you might say reduces the film down to its essence. You may watch it and say “that took a month?” but it’s pretty damn clever nonetheless.

Tribble is no stranger to the One Minute, One Take genre, as he has made similar films for KILL BILL and FORREST GUMP in the past, although I must say his foray into zombies has been my favorite thus far. It’s got me wondering just what other films could be shot in such a style. I think you could do THE HAPPENING just by having a group of people run through that same grass field for a solid minute.
