INT: Leonard Nimoy

JoBloJoBlo

I’ve interviewed a whole slew of people over the past few years. This includes some folks that I have an unbelievable amount of respect for. But the idea of sitting across from Leonard Nimoy is simply shocking. Right there, right in front of me… it was Spock. And what is most impressive about him is that he actually takes an interest in who he is talking to. The second I walked in, he started asking me about where I grew up, where I lived now and why growing up where I did was not the most enjoyable place to grow up. He absolutely listens to you and really wants to hear what you have to say, which is more than a little unusual at a junket.

After that, I was finally able to get him to talk STAR TREK. I just wish I could’ve talked to the man for hours and I am thrilled at his involvement in the film. I don’t think I need to say it again but I will… STAR TREK opens today and it is an insanely fun time at the movies.
