Word on the street is that Meryl Streep is now playing Mrs. Fox in Wes Anderson’s adptation of THE FANTASTIC MR. FOX, and not Cate Blanchett as previously reported. Also allegedly part of the voice cast are Owen Wilson, Michael Gambon, Willem Dafoe, Adrien Brody, Jarvis Cocker, and Wes Anderson himself. Also said, is that it looks like WALLACE AND GROMIT, but slicker.
In other news, how the hell did Willem Dafoe establish himself as on-screen talent? He’s good but why hasn’t he been doing voice work his entire career? That dude is hideous. If he came up to me on the street I would genuinely fear for my life. He looks like a goblin that for some reason grew to human size.
