SPIDERMAN 4 will apparently start shooting next year, said J.K. Simmons, who I guess in doing so, confirmed that he will be back to play Daily Bugle pubisher J. Jonah Jameson for the fourth time. This would seem to confirm what we’ve been hearing about Sony aiming for a 2011 release. No word yet on whether they’re aiming for it to not be a gargantuan piece of shit like the last one.
I’m sorry but the only way I’m getting excited about this is if they cast Mary Elizabeth Winstead as Mary Jane Watson. I hate re-casting mid-franchise but she should have had the role from the start. I’d have seen her nipples coming through a wet top by this point, if she had. Damn you, Sony!
