Spielberg, Eastwood re-team?

Although it’s still in preliminary stages, Steven Spielberg, proud owner of a little script called HEREAFTER, is reported to be wooing Old Man Oscar himself, Clint Eastwood, to direct the project.

Although plot details are being kept secret, the script was held onto by Spielberg when he split with Paramount earlier this year, meaning that it’s most likely quality stuff. Written by the same dude who wrote FROST/NIXON, it is described as being in the same vein as THE SIXTH SENSE. If Eastwood were to direct, it would mark his first forway into the supernatural. Unless you count that whole SPACE COWBOYS thing. That was pretty out there.
