If you’ll shift that beautiful mug of yours to the right, you’ll see a too-cool-for-school, retro poster for the upcoming Kyle Newman-directed dramedy FANBOYS. The film follows a group of STAR WARS-loving geeks who travel cross country so that their dying friend’s dream of watching THE PHANTOM MENACE at Skywalker Ranch before its release can come true. Though the fact that it’s quite the love letter to card-carrying Star Wars nerds the world over is reason enough for most of us round these parts to enjoy the hell out of it, Kristen Bell, who co-stars in it, also does us the enormous favor of dressing up as Slave Leia. A geek-love film that warms the heart as much as it warms the pants? Now that’s something special. Check out the poster in all its complete, high res bigness courtesy of the folks over at the IESB over HERE. The film opens January 18th.
