After spending 40 years chilling in a sanitarium (according to the story of the new film), iconic slasher Michael Myers racks up an impressive body count when he gets back into action in the latest HALLOWEEN sequel – which is coming to DVD/Blu on January 15th and can be pre-ordered at THIS LINK.
No matter how many kills are featured in any given slasher movie, one will usually stand out as a viewer's favorite, and the filmmakers have their favorites as well. In a behind-the-scenes video that the folks at Bloody-Disgusting got the exclusive first look at, HALLOWEEN director David Gordon Green discusses his favorite kill in the movie… and I won't spoil which character it happens to, but I will say that his favorite kill involves someone getting impaled on a fence.
That kill isn't just something Green came up with after he and co-writers Danny McBride and Jeff Fradley were hired to craft a new HALLOWEEN sequel. It's a kill Green has had in mind for a long time. In the video he says,
It's based on an idea I've been haunted by for 15 years, and I've thought for over a decade if I made a horror movie I would have to include that moment."

Ignoring the events of every HALLOWEEN except John Carpenter's 1978 original, Green's film stars Jamie Lee Curtis, reprising the role of
Laurie Strode, who comes to her final confrontation with Michael Myers, the masked figure who has haunted her since she narrowly escaped his killing spree on Halloween night four decades ago.
Curtis's co-stars include Judy Greer as Laurie's daughter Karen, Andi Matichak as Laurie's granddaughter Allyson, Will Patton as Frank Hawkins, Virginia Gardner as Allyson's friend Vicky, Miles Robbins as Vicky's boyfriend Dave, Dylan Arnold as Cameron Elam, Drew Scheid as Oscar, Toby Huss as Ray, Jefferson Hall as Aaron Korey, Rhian Rees as Dana Haines, Omar J. Dorsey as Sheriff Barker, Rob Niter as Deputy Sheriff Walker, Jibrail Nantambu as Julian, Haluk Bilginer as Dr. Ranbir Sartain, Nick McKeever as Deputy Keeve, and Diva Tyler as a caretaker. Original Michael Myers performer Nick Castle and stuntman James Jude Courtney both wore the mask of the boogeyman this time around.
